General Questions
How does Ansrd work?
Ansrd is a virtual business phone system built for small businesses—packed with enterprise-level features.
Keep your business and personal communication separate, all from your mobile device. With our powerful app, you can create custom call flows for different callers, including features like:
Personalized greetings and call menus
Business hours and smart routing
Caller ID control and voicemail
Extensions for departments or team members
Getting started is simple:
Sign up for a free trial, install the app, set up your call flows, and enjoy the convenience of a virtual receptionist that works exactly the way you do.
How hard is this to setup?
Not hard at all. Most users are up and running in just a few minutes. You can forward your existing number to Ansrd, or use one of our numbers right away—it’s completely up to you.
Setting up call flows is drag-and-drop easy, and our app walks you through everything.
Want to send texts too? There’s a one-time registration fee required by carriers for SMS (called 10DLC), but we’ll guide you through it when you’re ready.
No tech team needed. Just sign up, set up, and start communicating.
Do you offer a free trial?
Yes, we do! Try Ansrd for free with a no-strings-attached, 30-day free trial, which gives you access to all our features. It wouldn’t be a proper trial if you couldn’t experience our best features. And don’t worry, you can cancel at any time!
How much does Ansrd cost?
Our pricing starts at $11.99/month, which includes a local US number, unlimited users, and a base package of minutes and text messages. You can customize your plan using our pricing slider to match exactly how many minutes and messages you need—no paying for more than you use. Need more? Upgrade your usage or add numbers anytime right from your dashboard.
What if I need more minutes or text messages?
To upgrade your plan, simply go to your user dashboard and add as many minutes or messages as you like. For full transparency, we will always show you the additional monthly cost before you confirm your upgrade.
Is the Ansrd app available for both iOS and Android devices?
Yes, Ansrd is available as iOS and Android apps and can be used on all devices, both mobile and desktop.
Can I have more than one phone number?
Yes! You can add as many phone numbers as you need. Assign numbers to individual users, call flows, or apps—whatever fits your business setup. Numbers can be local or toll-free, and you can manage them directly from your dashboard at any time.
What is the social feed?
1. What is the Social Feed?
The Social Feed is a central place where you can see all your team’s calls, texts, and posts—just like a private social network for your business. It lets you stay in sync and interact with daily communication.
2. What appears in the feed?
Inbound and outbound calls, text messages, voicemail activity, and user-created posts all appear in the feed, along with time, participants, and engagement details.
3. Can I comment or react to a post?
Yes! You can leave comments on any feed item and “like” important moments to surface them for your team.
4. Can I post my own messages to the feed?
Absolutely. You can post text updates, add images, or tag teammates to start internal conversations directly in the feed.
5. How does this help my team?
The feed reduces the need for scattered messaging apps, centralizes communication history, and lets teams collaborate directly on call/text activity—improving follow-up and accountability.
Do free user accounts have access to Ansrd full features?
Only users who need to make or receive calls using the Ansrd apps require a phone number assigned to them. Users without an assigned number won’t have access to in-app calling features.
Free user accounts are perfect for team members who use their own mobile or landline numbers to receive forwarded calls, or for admins who set up and manage the system but don’t actively make or receive calls through the system.
How do I create a call flow?
Our drag-and-drop flow creator makes it a breeze! Just click on your flow, select the desired action, add it to the flow, connect it with other actions, and set up the necessary iterations.
What is the user limit for the dial-in conferencing feature?
You can host dial-in conferences for up to 100 participants, which is usually sufficient for most of our clients. If you need to add more users, just let us know.
Can I bring my own phone number to Ansrd?
Absolutely! Just transfer your number to us the way you would transfer your cell number to a different provider. Talk to us to find out more.
Do you provide professional voiceover services?
We include free AI voice options you can use for your call flows and greetings—no extra cost. If you prefer a professionally recorded human voice, we don’t provide that in-house, but we’re happy to connect you with trusted voiceover artists and services.
